Do you know someone who is showing us all up in taking on an environmental issue? Let’s put them in the spotlight! Each year the Earth Day Omaha Coalition recognizes one individual and one organization that are making an extraordinary effort to protect the environment. 

The individual Friends of the Environment have dedicated a significant amount of time and energy to protecting the environment or pursuing an environmental issue. These individuals have worked hard to influence others in the community in order to bring about change.

The organizations recognized as Friends of the Environment have gone above and beyond their company mission to become a leader in environmental protection and awareness.

Nominations are due by Sunday, April 15 at midnight.

Winners will receive a $250 gift certificate to Whole Foods and be recognized at the Earth Day Omaha event.
