Do you know someone who is showing us all up in taking on an environmental issue? Let’s put them in the spotlight! We’re looking for local individuals and organizations who are making an outstanding effort in improving the environment for our 2010 Friend of the Environment Awards.

The Friend of the Environment Award is given to one individual and one organization based in the Greater Omaha area.

The individual nominee should have dedicated a significant amount of time and energy to protecting the environment or pursing an environmental issue and worked to influence others in the community in order to bring about change.

The organization should have gone above and beyond their company mission to become a leader in environmental protection and awareness.

Nominations are due by March 31.
