Vendor/Exhibitor Registration 

TheEarthDay Omaha Coalition would like to invite you to be an exhibitor or vendor for the Earth Day Omaha 2010 event!  Earth Day Omaha is the largest ecologically-focused event in Nebraska, our mission is to provide a showcase for the many charitable, scientific and educational efforts advocating for sustainable environmental practices and lifestyles.  We welcome businesses, companies, agencies and organizations that observe earth-friendly, sustainable and family-oriented ideals and practices.  Earth Day’s strength lies in the diversity of people from different communities coming together to support a common goal. We ask that only those organizations that meet these practices apply. 

****There will be a rain location, no rain date.  No fees will be refunded if it rains. ****

Exhibitor/ Vendors

  • EDO will provide one 10’ x 10’ space, including one folding table and two chairs. 
  • You are responsible for bringing a canopy if needed.
  • There will be no electricity available.
  • The hours of the exhibitor area will be 12:00p-6:00p

Food Vendors

  • EDO will provide one 10’ x 10’ space, including one folding table and two chairs.  More tables and chairs may be requested.
  • You are responsible for bringing a canopy if needed.
  • 10 amps of 110 volt power or 220 volt power will be supplied. Please note your power needs on your application form (There will be $35 charge for extra power requirements)
  • Provide EDOC with a copy of your food vendor license/permit from the Douglas County Health Department,444-7485.
  • Provide EDOC with a copy of your Certificate of Liability Insurance naming the City of Omaha as "additional insured"
  • Provide EDOC with a copy of your Department of Agriculture license.
  • EDOC will submit these forms with your fee to City of Omaha Parks and Rec for approval.
  • We ask that any food vendors applying provide both vegetarian and/or a sustainable meat option.  Please consider your paper products used to distribute the food, no Styrofoam.
  • The hours of the food vendor area will be 12:00p-7:00p

All Vendors

  • No smoking, drugs or alcohol will be permitted at general exhibitor, vendor or food booths.
  • In the spirit of Earth Day, all booth renters are responsible for cleaning up after themselves. Think about what you are handing out and leave no trace!
  • Exhibitors and vendors MUST set up between the hours of 9am and 11:30am there will be volunteers available to help you with set up.
  • Persons arriving after 11:30am will not have access to drive up unloading. 

Registration Deadline is March 31, 2010.

This application does not guarantee a booth space. Booths are available on a first-come, first-served basis. In the case your application is turned down, you will receive a letter of explanation and a refund of any fees submitted. Once accepted and we receive your payment, you will be assigned a booth number and given further information.


*Notice: As part of our dedication to the planet, electricity will not be available to vendor/display booths. It may be available to food vendors on request. In this case, please make a special note at the end of this application. 

Fees for 2010

    • Vendor $100
      • A Vendor is a Business or For-Profit Organization.  $25 of your fee must be submitted to the city by the EDOC whether you are selling an item or not.
    • Food Vendor $100 + city fees
      • A Food Vendor is a Business’ selling food items.  Pre-packaged food items only do not apply.  $25 of your fee must be submitted to the city by the EDOC.
      • A required Food Vendor permit from the City of Omaha DCHD is $65
    • Non-Profit Vendor $50
      • A Non-Profit Vendor is a non-profit 501 c 3 organizations or School selling items. $25 of your fee must be submitted to the city by the EDOC
    • Non-Profit Exhibitor $25
      • A Non-Profit Exhibitor is a non-profit 501 c 3 organizations or School providing information or an activity.
